Vern Ehlers (R-MI) criticizes the educational level of US public schools.

Quoting the new PISA study of the OECD, Ehlers expresses his concerns about the quality of the public education system in the United States. 20 nations of the OECD beat the United States in math and science. This problem must be solved, he says at a press conference on the Math and Science Incentive Act of 2005.
