Senator Jon S. Corzine (D-NJ), states if Social Security is cut in New Jersey, it will eventually cause a negative impact to New Jersey’s state budget and economy.

Senator Corzine, held a conference call to discuss a report dealing with both the economical and political impact of Social Security privatization in New Jersey. He states that Social Security privatization will lead people to poverty and shifting more of the burden to the state or the individual by cutting their standards of living. (:49)
