Mr. Robert C. Pozen, Chairman of MFS Investment Management, discusses how Progressive indexing would work for social security.
Pozen, speaking at the Senate Finance Committee, explains that if someone’s replace ratio has to be reduced they would look to other areas for retirement income. He explains that a person’s benefits could be reduced from 45% to 28% and it could be made up though IRAs and 401Ks. (:39)
