Harry Reid (D-NV), Senate minority leader, calls Privatization a buzz word for getting rid of Social Security.

Harry Reid, speaking at a town Hall meeting on African Americans and Social Security, explains that privatization cuts benefits by more then a 1/3, it drives up trillions of dollars in debt, and it does nothing for solvency. He continues by saying that the Democrats want to work out the long term problems with social security and are willing to work in a bi-partisan basis, but they will never accept privatization.(:32)
