At an oversight hearing of the House Committee on the Judiciary about the future of music licensing, Nashville songwriter Wood Newton performs a self composed song praising the Constitutional Article 1, Section 8, which promotes "the Progress of Science and useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries."
