Senator Robert Byrd (D-WV) says he is worried the president has a hidden agenda in dealing with Iran and Syria and he doubts the administration has not learned from its mistakes in Iraq.
Sen. Byrd says in a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing on the supplemental request to the budget that he is worried the Bush Administration has a hidden agenda on Iran and Syria, no agenda on North Korean nuclear armament, and is leading us down the same unfortunate path in regards to Iran and Syria as was taken on Iraq.
