Rajiv Chandrasekaran, former Baghdad bureau chief for the Washington Post, explains how the unfulfilled expectations of Iraqis have led to hostility towards American troops there.

Chandrasekaran says that after the Saddam regime was toppled Iraqis had high expectations that after Saddam Hussein was removed from power change would come quickly. Seeing that change has taken longer than they had hoped, Iraqi sentiments towards coalition forces have gone from frustration to resentment to hostility. (1:07)
