Karl Rove, Deputy Chief of Staff talks about President Bush’s climb to victory

Rove states that the Republican Party faced many problems in 2004. There was an overspending of $140 million dollars by their opposition, it was a time of controversial war, and the nation was faced with a recovering economy. Rove points out that Bush climbed a steep hill to win the 2004 election with dignity. (1:01)
