Harvard Professor of Law Elizabeth Warren points out that serious medical problems are one of the main reasons people file for bankruptcy and urges Congress to adopt new bankruptcy legislation.
Professor Warren stated that one million men and women turn to bankruptcy each year in the aftermath of a serious medical problem, despite the fact that they had insurance before the onset of the illness. Warren said that this Congress has the opportunity with the current bankruptcy bill to make history. (0:38)
