Education Secretary Margaret Spellings gives a brief overview of the goals of the budget relating to the Department of Education.

Spellings says that the budget focuses on "key priorities" of the Education Department, among them are the continuation of No Child Left Behind, commitment to Title I and special education, turning attention to high school education, increasing the Pell award, and providing incentives to teachers working in the country’s neediest schools.
