Dr. Sidney Wolfe tells the House Subcommittee on Health that several investigations reveal the FDA is not working effectively.
Dr. Wolfe, director of the Health Research Group, says that a survey his organization conducted and two investigations held by the FDA itself reveal that physicians working for the FDA feel their own opinions and authority are undermined and the organization is approving drugs that are unsafe.
