Dr. Mokhtar Benabdallaoui through a translator tells the people at the Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty press conference that starting in the 1980s the Islamic movement was very power and the need of leaders in the Islamic world and the need of the west to have these groups for the war in Afghanistan, gave the Islamic groups a lot of power. The idea now from the political elites is if these groups should be included in society or not.(1:32)
