Congressman Mike Ross (D-AR) says reforming Social Security needs to be done cautiously since it is a program his constituents rely on and says finding a way to save Medicare from bankruptcy is a more pressing issue.
Rep. Ross says there is enough time to form a sensible plan to reform Social Security and it should not be done in haste because half of senior citizens get by from check to check provided by the program. Rep. Ross also thinks reforming Social Security before Medicare is like "putting the cart before the horse" because Medicare will be bankrupt in 14 years. (:37)
