Attorney Alan Grayson explains how contracting company, Custer Battles, defrauded the U.S. government out of almost $30 million.
Grayson explains at a Democratic Policy Committee Hearing how Custer Battles received $30 million from the government by doing almost nothing: First, by providing security for civilian flights at Baghdad Airport even though no civilan flights went through that airport; and subsequently by providing security for the distribution of new Iraqi dinars–$10 million worth of dinars was found in one staffer’s luggage after flying to Beirut.
